A successful 10th Anniversary Exhibition of painting works by Bateau Bay Artists was held over the last Easter weekend.

Blessed with perfect weather at Easter, many visitors came to the Central Coast as it was a long weekend and also the start of the school holidays. The Bateau Bay Community Hall in Rushby Street saw a record number of visitors pass through to view the paintings.

Bateau Bay Artists are a group of local artists who paint the wonderful scenery of the Central Coast of NSW, Australia.

Their aim is to foster an interest in the scenic coastline, particularly the Bateau Bay area, and promote its natural beauty through painting and sketching. Paintings are in oils, acrylic and watercolour.

Since the foundation of the group, exhibitions have been held locally. The exhibitions have become very popular. The paintings of the Bateau Bay Artists appeal to the collectors of art, local residents and, of course, tourists to the area.
