Meg Hocking spent her working years as a teacher. On retirement Meg was able to turn to painting on a full time basis.

Experimenting with different mediums, Meg at first painted in pastels and oils. She attended many workshops and was tutored by professional artists. It was at these workshops that Meg discovered her preference for watercolour. She stayed with this medium, perfecting her technique and brushwork.

Variety of themes is important to Meg, painting landscapes, flowers, birds and animals.

Meg's paintings hang in collections throughout Australia and overseas.
